LgY 1.5 mm² 300/500 V is a single-core copper cable with a stranded conductor (flex) in PVC insulation, sold in 100 m coils.

Application

The cable is intended for permanent installation. It is particularly suitable where the installation consists of many short runs, or where the mounting conditions involve frequent bending at small radii — in such places a flexible stranded conductor makes the cable easier to route. For mobile installation the product data gives a narrower operating temperature range: −10…+70 °C.

Construction and specifications

The conductor is copper and stranded — hence the common name “flex”. The insulation is made of PVC. The product page cites the standard PN-E-90054:1987 and the harmonised standard PN-EN 50525-2-31:2011, and for core identification PN-HD 308 S2:2007 (U). Insulation colours other than the variants in the range are available by arrangement.

How to choose

This page covers one cross-section at one rated voltage, in the colour chosen in the product variant.
